Preferred Molding Compounds (PMC) is a leading producer of Sheet Molding Compounds. They specialize in producing Low Pressure Molding Compounds, otherwise known as LPMC™. The thickening process of LPMC™ is one of its unique properties and characteristics. PMC compounds contain no earth oxide thickener, and therefore do not thicken chemically, but are thickened physically as a result of "Crystic Impreg Technology". This lack of chemical thickening results in its superior molding and end-use characteristics. Answer Industries utilizes their compounds in the production of truncated dome panels and embedment anchors.
SAAM Technologies bridges the gap between "open mold techniques" and "typical SMC production". They have done this by designing Automated Compression Molding Systems. SAAM's are specifically designed for use with Low Pressure Molding Compounds (LPMC™). High quality, consistent production is the result.
